Prior to becoming a Playmate, she has appeared on magazine covers (such as Muscle and Fitness, FHM and Glamour) as well as inside the issues of Maxim, Stuff, Vanity Fair and Sports Illustrated. Tamara has also appeared in advertising campaigns, calendars, lingerie and swimwear catalogs. She also appeared in Lingerie Bowl 2005 in February 2005 during half-time of Super Bowl XXXIX, as a lingerie-wearing tackle football player of the Los Angeles Temptation team.

In February 2006, Witmer was featured as one of the models on the American version of the game show Deal or No Deal.

Witmer is a model for Bench Warmer International trading cards featuring female models.

Mexico's Next Top Model

Mexico's Next Top Model, sometimes abbreviated as MxNTM, is a Mexican reality television series, based on Tyra Banks' America's Next Top Model. It is the second franchise in Latin America after Brazil's Next Top Model, and like the latter, the Mexican version is broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television.

The series featured a group of young women who would be competing for the title of "Mexico's Next Top Model" and a chance to begin their career in the modeling industry.

The challenge usually focuses on an element important to modeling which will help the girls to improve theirs week's photoshoot. A guest judge, who is unique to each episode, evaluates the contestants and decides the winner of the challenge, who receives a prize for her victory. Sometimes the winner is permitted to choose a certain number of other contestants to receive a similar, but lesser, reward, while the others are given nothing.

Based upon the girls' performance in the week's challenge, photoshoot, and general attitude, the judges deliberate and decide which girl must leave the competition. Once the judges have made their decision, the girls are called back into the room. The host, Elsa, calls out the names of the girls who performed well in the challenge and photoshoot, giving them a copy of their best photo from the shoot. The last two girls, whose names have not been called, are given criticism about why they were in the bottom two, and one is eliminated. The person who is eliminated does not receive a photo.

A model (from Middle French modèle), sometimes called a mannequin, is a person who is employed for the purpose of displaying and promoting fashion clothing or other products and for advertising or promotional purposes or who poses for works of art.

Modelling ("modelling" with a doubled "l" is British spelling, vs "modeling" single "l" American spelling) is distinguished from other types of public performance, such as an acting, dancing or mime artist, although the boundary is not well defined. Appearing in a movie or a play is not considered modelling.

Types of modelling include fashion, glamour, fitness, bikini, fine art, and body-part models. Models are features in a variety of media formats including books, magazines, movies, newspapers, and TV. The models themselves can be a featured part of a movie (Looker, Tattoo), reality television show (America's Next Top Model, The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency), or music video ("Freedom! '90", "Wicked Game", "Daughters").

America's Next Top Beauty Model- Chantal Jones

Heather Chantal Jones (born September 8, 1988 in Austin, Texas), is an American fashion model and actress. Jones was the runner-up on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 9 in 2007.

Jones was perhaps most known for her bubbly personality. As the show progressed, Tyra Banks commented that Jones resembles Cheryl Tiegs. Her photographs were generally praised by the judges, and she appeared in the bottom two only once during the competition. Chantal earned a spot among the final two models along with fellow contestant Saleisha Stowers. During the final runway challenge in Beijing, China, Chantal Jones faced difficulty when a performer on stilts tripped on the train of her dress, which caused her to temporarily lose her composure. At the final deliberation, the judges noted Jones' high-fashion appeal, but were also impressed by Stowers' command of the final runway and her fluidity. Eventually because of her girl-next-door appeal and good looks, Stowers won the competition making Jones runner-up. Jones was featured on the September 24, 2008 broadcasting of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 11 as one of the "Top Models in Action". She also guest-starred in an episode of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 12, along with fellow Top Model contestant Bianca Golden in a runway teach.

Chantal Jones was signed with 62 Models & Talent and Scoop Management when she was in Auckland and Australia. She is no longer with 62 Models & Talent and Scoop Management now. Chantal was in the April 2008 issue of BL!SS. She was in the cover and spread in 7x7 Magazine. One of her runway shots was chosen in the cover of California Apparel News. Another runway shot was in GENLUX Magazine. She also modeled for Farmers Clothing in New Zealand. Chantal Jones has spread in Simply You, Summer 2008/2009 in New Zealand. Chantal Jones had a cover and spread in Orange Coast Magazine. Chantal Jones has done a national ad campaign for KMS California. Chantal Jones was also in the cover of M Magazine by Maly's March 2009. Chantal Jones also has done an ad campaign for Tempe Marketplace. Chantal Jones had two-page spread in Bride & Bloom Magazine Spring 2009. Chantal Jones was also in the Fall 2009 Sony Lookbook. Chantal Jones also has done an ad for ag+, a product from Shiseido.

Jones took place in runway shows including those in Austin, Texas, Oscar de la Renta in Oscar Fashion Preview, Whitley Kros, Jenny Han, and Falguni and Shane Peacock in L.A. Fashion Week in the 2008 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. She has also participated in Lauren Conrad's debut collection fashion show and the Pussycat Dolls' fashion show by Robin Antin. She has walked for Grüv Fashion Show in Austin, Texas. Chantal Jones has also walked for Celestio Couture show in Austin, Texas. Chantal Jones was in FIMD Fashion Show 2008. Chantal Jones was in Kidscan charity fashion show in New Zealand. In the LA Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2009, Chantal Jones has walked for Whitley Kros and Ed Hardy etc. Chantal Jones also walked for Los Angeles International Textile Show

Chantal Jones had a guest star role in an episode of The Bold and the Beautiful which aired on November 17, 2008 on CBS. Chantal Jones appeared in Fashion TV three times. Chantal Jones was on abc7 too.
